【女児2人殺害「飯塚事件」】再審請求審で新たな証拠「男の特徴は久間氏とは違った」
31年前、福岡県飯塚市で小学生の女の子2人が殺害された「飯塚事件」で、死刑になった男性の家族が裁判のやり直しを求めている再審請求で31日、福岡地裁で証人尋問が行われました。
再審（＝裁判のやり直し）を申し立てているのは、久間三千年元死刑囚の家族です。久間氏は31年前、飯塚市で女児2人を殺害したとして死刑が執行されました。
弁護団は2021年、久間氏は無実だとして2度目の裁判のやり直しを申し立てました。このとき弁護団は、ある男性の証言を無実を主張する新たな証拠として提出しました。31日は福岡地裁でこの男性の証人尋問が行われました。
男性は「事件当日に女児2人を乗せた白い軽ワゴン車を男が運転しているのを見た。男の特徴は久間氏とは違った」と証言しています。
弁護団によりますと、31日の尋問で男性は、「女の子の寂しそうな顔が脳裏に焼き付いていて、記憶違いはない」と話しました。また、当時訪ねてきた警察官が男性に「普通車ではないか？ 紺色のワゴン車ではなかったか」などと聞いてきたと新たに明らかにしました。
紺色のワゴンは当時、久間氏が所有していた車で、弁護団は警察が「久間氏が犯人だとの見立ての元証言を得ようとしたのでは」と説明しています。
弁護団は検察が都合の悪い捜査資料を隠しているとして、事件に関わる証拠を開示するよう求めていました。
裁判所は今年3月、検察に証拠品のリストの開示を勧告していましたが、検察は「裁判所に権限はない」「事案の解明に意味はない」などと拒否したということです。
